Quick update

So we have not been able to update because the internet has been very unreliable at the PC office this week. But we did get some exciting news. Today we are heading to our first host families house. We have been placed in a town called San Jose Succotz more often refered to as Succotz. It is in the North Western part of Belize and is very close to the Guatemala border. It is a rural town and we will be learning Spanish!!! We are very excited about this because it was our first choice out of the many many languages that are spoken here: English, Spanish, Kriol, Garifuna, Mopan, Chinese, Taiwanese, etc. WE are doing very well and so far are healthy. We love getting emails, comments on the blog and hopfully soon mail. You can send mail to

(Kathryn or Cisco Fernandez), PCV
PO BOX 492
BELMOPAN, BELIZE

We already miss home even though we are loving it here so if possible send us a note. Got to go learn about our new site. Miss you all!

Peace,
Kathryn

Hey guys!!! Wish you were still down south, but now you're REALLY down south. Super news about learning Spanish too! There's a room waiting for you in Atlanta when you come home!

I must say that your address looks more hospitable than the IRS address I'm looking at now.

I guess I'll send you their money instead, that cool?

April 15th what a bummer. April 9th, now --- Kath you have a cousin who is related to you in some way (consult my father, John Ramsey, for the full details), who shares the same birthday. He would be my son, Eric. Long live you both!

I miss you guys. Emery is growing so much! He is now officially out of the 0-3 month clothed and on to 3-6! He smiles and giggles all the time. He's learning to babble, experimenting with sqeaking, croaking, pitch, and volume. He can sit up in his bebe pod (a seat that is structured to train a baby to be able to sit up independently). He has discovered his hand and feet. He is starting to reach for things and try to bring them to his mouth. Yesterday he discovered he can reach up and touch Mommy's face! On Friday night he scratched his cornia because his nails were too long.

We received your card. And I don't know what to say. You left me speechless and crying. We'll be sure to pay it forward when the time comes. We love you. It's funny how we are going through such different adventures at the same time!
